- For general support of healthy hoof growth and quality
COMPOSITION
Cavalor® Hoof Aid combines readily available Biotin with a high dose of Vitamin A and D3. Vitamin A contributes to the development of the hoof wall. A deficiency of vitamin A is linked to coronary inflammation. Vitamin D3 also plays an important role in metabolism and hoof tissue development. Scientific research has shown that the combination of different ingredients is more effective than biotin alone. Cavalor® Hoof Aid also contains zinc. Zinc helps in the synthesis of keratin, which ensures strong, solid hooves. Zinc also supports the construction and repair of tissue cells in the hoof and hoof wall cells. Cavalor® Hoof Aid also contains Calcium carbonate. Calcium plays a role in the synthesis of sulfur bridges that ensure that the proteins in the hoof wall are linked together. Finally, methionine is an essential, sulfur-containing amino acid that supports the flexibility of the hoof.
