FOR LIVER DETOX AND EXTRA ENERGY
The body's oxygen-carrying capacity is determined by the number of red blood cells. A lack of red blood cells, also known as anemia, leads to decreased performance, lethargy and decreased appetite.
Hemachol is a liquid solution that stimulates the production of red blood cells, supports the detoxifying action of the liver and accelerates overall recovery. Thanks to the increase in the number of red blood cells, more oxygen is available in the body, allowing the horses to exhibit more energy, strength and endurance.
To further stimulate oxygen-carrying capacity, Hemachol also contains important trace minerals such as iron, copper, manganese and zinc. These minerals stimulate hemoglobin production. Hemoglobin is a protein present in red blood cells whose function is to transport oxygen throughout the body. In addition to these minerals, numerous B vitamins are also present to increase energy levels. L-methionine was added because of its purifying effect on the liver with the result that increased liver values are normalized.
When is Hemachol used?
- In listless horses with little energy
- During the competition season
- In horses performing less well toward the end of the competition
- After prolonged administration of medication
