The Kentucky show rug has a filling of 160 grams and is therefore the perfect blanket to transport the horses when it is slightly colder. The Kentucky show rug can be washed in the washing machine at 30 °, no dryer.
The inside is lined with artificial rabbit skin for an ultra-soft feel against the skin and to prevent chafing on the chest or shoulders. The artificial rabbit fur (100% animal-friendly) produces small air pockets that capture and retain the horse's body heat. The soft hairs of the artificial rabbit fur increase the shine of the horse coat. Thanks to the high heat-to-weight ratio, this Kentucky show blanket offers maximum comfort.
Technical description
The artificial wool protects the withers and covers the entire edge around the neck and chest to prevent chafing and pressure marks and to provide more comfort. This extra wool trim provides an extremely classy look. The waffle motif on the outside makes it more difficult for the horses to break the blanket. The outer fabric is made of 1000D High Tenacity Polyester.
At the front, the blanket is closed by means of 2 simple adjustable chest closures that have been carefully finished with imitation leather. The two cross surcingles are also adjustable and finished with leather. These are also completely removable if you prefer not to use belly straps. The buttock closure consists of a thick elastic with a plastic cover, making it very easy to wash. A buckle has been placed on both sides so that the buttock closure is easily removable.
