The Kentucky Stable Blanket 200g is a must-have for clipped horses or for horses with sensitive skin. The chic blanket offers a lot of warmth and comfort for the horse, and at the same time is very user-friendly for the rider. Although the blanket is nice and warm, it is still very breathable thanks to the combination of the materials.
Fabrics & materials
The inside of the stable rug is lined with the well-known artificial rabbit fur lining. This liner prevents chafing and has a glossy effect on the coat. In addition, the artificial rabbit fur creates an insulating layer around the horse that retains and releases body heat. For extra warmth, the blanket is provided with 200g polyester fiber fil. This filling has the same effect as down, but is more user-friendly. The outside of the stable rug has a 600 denier high tenacity polyester and is quilted in a diamond pattern. Thanks to the combination of the stitching and the 600D polyester, the blanket is very difficult to tear. In addition, no scuffs remain on the blanket.
Shape & size
The stable rug is anatomically shaped and closes with 2 strong chest closures and 2 cross surcingles made of seat belt material. Thanks to the artificial rabbit fur, the blanket always slides back into place. For extra protection at the withers, the withers section is provided with artificial wool.
Maintenance Tips
The stable rug is very easy to maintain for the rider. For example, hay and straw can be easily brushed off and the blanket is washable at 30 degrees.
