The loose ring is a standard bit. This bit has loose rings that allow the bit to move more freely in the mouth, so many horses accept this bit well. Because the rings move freely, the aids come across less directly than, for example, with a Bust bit. To prevent skin from getting between the moving rings and the mouthpiece, it is recommended that the bit be fitted with bit rings.
