Competition Gear for Horse & Rider: Stable Curtains, Head Protectors & Director Chairs | Emmers Equestrian
Show day is easier when your base at the venue works for you. Our competition gear ranges from Kentucky to Equiline and Eskadron and covers the finishing touches that make your stall and your day run smoothly: stable curtains for a calm, tidy, and professional-looking space, head protectors for your horse, and director chairs so you have somewhere comfortable to sit between classes. Practical pieces that look the part, in brands riders know and trust.
A stable curtain does more than look smart. At a busy show it creates a more secluded, low-stimulus space for your horse, which can help sensitive or easily distracted horses settle. Add a head protector for the stable and a chair for yourself, and your stall becomes a neat, comfortable place to spend a long day.
Tips for Choosing
- Measure your stall before buying a stable curtain and compare it with the size on the product page. Look for sturdy fixings, such as reinforced metal rings, that hold up to repeated use.
- Pick a curtain material that suits the weather. Some curtains are water- and dirt-repellent and designed for varied conditions, so check the product description for the specific model.
- Choose a head protector for your horse that fits around the iron. Check the product details for sizing and how it fastens, and make sure it sits well on your horse's head.
- Match your set. Kentucky, Equiline and Eskadron each have their own colors and styles, so you can coordinate your curtain, chair, and other stable accessories for a consistent, polished look.
- Choose a director chair that is sturdy and folds away easily for transport. Check the product details for the dimensions and weight limit.
