By Astrup: Wooden Toys & Hobby Horse Play | Emmers Equestrian
By Astrup brings the world of hobby horsing to life with wooden toys and accessories designed to turn imaginative play into a full stable adventure. The range typically includes show jumping fences and obstacle courses sized for hobby horses, along with a wooden stable, grooming sets, and even a mini wheelbarrow for mucking-out play.
For children who enjoy a bit of dress-up alongside their hobby horse, there are also knight armor sets that add a playful, themed twist to riding games.
A few tips for choosing:
- Start with a jump or two; a simple obstacle is often a great way to introduce hobby horse play before building a full course.
- Add a grooming set, a nice way to introduce basic horse care concepts through play.
- Build a stable setup over time; the wooden stable and accessories can grow into a bigger collection as interest develops.
- Consider age and space; larger sets like the stable or obstacle course may suit a dedicated play area.
- Mix in themed extras; knight armor sets can add variety for children who enjoy imaginative role play.
