Cashier & Administrative Assistant (m/f/x)

For our store next to the Peelbergen Equestrian Centre, we are looking for an Administrative Cashier who makes a difference through accuracy, composure, and a long-term commitment to strengthening and supporting our store operations.

What you will do

The customer experience begins and ends at our checkout.

As an Administrative Cashier, you are the consistent face and the organisational anchor of the store. You ensure that administration is accurate, processes run smoothly, and customers are assisted in a professional manner.
You combine administrative precision with genuine hospitality. Thanks to you, everything behind the scenes is structured and correct, allowing the retail team to fully focus on sales and customer advice. This role is ideal for someone who is ready to take responsibility and become a key part of the team in the long term.

You maintain structure and organisation

  • Follow up on customer orders, repairs, and delivery notes
  • Monitor the flow of goods in the customer collection area
  • Support purchasing management with logistical and administrative processes
  • Maintain a clear and well-organised front desk

You ensure accuracy

  • Process cashier transactions correctly
  • Apply and verify the correct VAT rates
  • Prepare export and tax-free documentation
  • Check price labels and system pricing
  • Handle cash administration responsibly

You are the face of the front desk

  • Welcome customers in a professional and friendly manner
  • Assist customers with questions regarding orders and administrative matters
  • Build and maintain accurate customer accounts
  • Identify recurring questions or areas for improvement
