The Sweet Iron Weymouth Fixed-Medium Port from Trust is a dressage curb bit used in combination with a bradoon. It features longer shanks, providing sharper leverage than a baby dressage curb. This bit is commonly used in higher dressage classes and must always be used with a curb chain to prevent the bit from overriding. Not suitable for inexperienced riders.

The mouthpiece has a medium port that offers more tongue freedom and evenly distributes pressure over the bars. This makes it ideal for horses with sensitive tongues or those that tend to stick their tongues out.

Sweet Iron bits from Trust are made of steel and have a distinctive blue color. Exposure to moisture causes surface rust to form, which has a sweet taste and stimulates salivation, making the bit more easily accepted. Over time, the blue color changes to brown-grey due to oxidation.
