The Stübben Pelham | Sweet Copper | Single Jointed is a baby Pelham bit that applies leverage to the bars, chin, and poll. When the rider engages the reins, the upper shank tilts forward affecting the poll, while the lower shank tilts backward, applying pressure to the mouth and chin.
