The Trust Sweet Iron 3 Ring Eliptical is a 3-ring bit with leverage action. The lower the reins are attached, the stronger the effect. It is ideal for horses that become strong during jumping, grab the bit, or pull through the rider’s hand.

The double-jointed mouthpiece sits loosely in the mouth and applies pressure to the tongue, bars, and corners. For horses with a narrow lower jaw, the joints may press on the bars. The diameter of the bit is 16 mm.

Sweet Iron bits are made of blue steel that forms surface rust when exposed to air humidity. This rust tastes mildly sweet and naturally stimulates salivation, helping the horse to accept the bit more easily.
