This bit combines the upward leverage of a gag with the lateral guidance of a full cheek, helping the horse to rebalance and shift weight onto the hindquarters while improving direction. The gag action becomes stronger with larger ring sizes.

It requires special cheek pieces and can be used with two reins, bit loops, or four reins. It is especially suitable for horses that tend to feel heavy on the reins and benefit from encouragement to relax during work.
