The Jump'In Small Cheek Flat Reclining Pelham Bit features 45 mm cheeks and a 30 mm wide flat cannon made of stainless steel. The cannon is designed to recline 90°, providing a broad contact surface and increased comfort for certain horses.

The Pelham bit offers a balance between a standard bridle and a double bridle, delivering varying degrees of lever action depending on cheek length, curb chain adjustment, and rein setup. It encourages the horse to give in at the poll and applies pressure on the mandibles.

This bit can be used with two reins or four reins. The action of the curb chain can be softened by opting for leather or nylon versions. The smaller cheek design provides a slightly softer effect than larger-cheeked models.
